Automated guided vehicles for sale: the Hangcha EZGO

An automated guided vehicle, or AGV, moves loads between set points without a driver. The Hangcha EZGO that DJJ Equipment sells is an autonomous mobile robot pallet truck: it carries pallets of up to 2,000 kg and finds its own way by 3D LiDAR, so it needs no floor markers, reflectors or changes to the building.

The Hangcha EZGO

The Hangcha EZGO AGV positions to within 15 mm, travels at up to 1.5 m/s, steers around obstacles and coordinates with other EZGO units on the same site. It measures 1,724 by 688 by 2,021 mm, turns in a 1,535 mm radius and works in a 2,336 mm aisle with 800 by 1200 mm pallets. A swappable 48V lithium pack runs for 4-5 hours and fast-charges in 1.5 hours, and safety comes from laser and 3D vision sensing and a mechanical buffer.

Where an AGV makes sense

An AGV pays its way on repeated pallet moves over the same route: from a production line to a dispatch area, between a dock and a buffer store, or between two areas on the same floor level. Count the moves per hour and the shifts you run, then compare that with the cost of a driver doing the same job. Routes with lots of one-off moves or rough floors are a poor fit: the EZGO has 40 mm of ground clearance and needs smooth, level floors.

Planning the route

Map the pick-up and drop points, the route, the doors and the places where people and other vehicles cross it. Hangcha quotes the EZGO as ready to run in about 15 minutes because it maps the site itself, but the safety plan still needs to cover pedestrian areas, speed zones and who responds when the vehicle stops. For routes that change every day, a driver on an electric pallet jack is still the more flexible choice.

Trial, warranty and support

The EZGO is listed for sale, and Try Before You Buy may be available on selected equipment, subject to approval, so ask our team. The listing does not show a warranty figure yet, so confirm the warranty in writing with your quote. DJJ Care covers scheduled maintenance, parts replacement and technical assistance after purchase, and multi-site buyers can work with DJJ through our enterprise and fleet supply service.

Before you choose, check:

  • Load weight and pallet size
  • Pick-up and drop points and the route between them
  • Floor condition along the whole route
  • Moves per hour and shifts per day
  • Where people and vehicles cross the route

Tell us the route, the loads and the moves per hour, and our team will check whether the EZGO suits the job. Call 1800 355 388 or send an enquiry.

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers before you speak with the team.

How much can the Hangcha EZGO automated guided vehicle carry?

The Hangcha EZGO AGV listed by DJJ Equipment is rated at 2.0 t. Confirm that figure against your heaviest load and how the load is presented at each pick-up and drop point before you choose the machine.

What information does DJJ need to quote an AGV project?

Start with the route: pick-up and drop points, travel distance, load weight and pallet type, floor condition and how many moves an hour you need. With those details our team can check whether the EZGO AGV suits the task before you commit to a machine.

Do we still need staff training once an AGV is running?

Yes. An AGV runs set tasks without an operator on board, but people working around it still need training and instruction, and your business must manage the risk under WHS law where people and vehicles share space. Confirm site-specific duties with your state regulator.

Can we trial or hire an AGV before buying one?

The EZGO AGV is listed for sale. Try Before You Buy may be available on selected equipment, subject to approval, so ask the team about availability for the AGV and the branch closest to your site.

What warranty and servicing support comes with the AGV?

The EZGO AGV listing does not show a warranty figure yet, so confirm the warranty in writing with your quote. After purchase, DJJ Care covers scheduled maintenance, parts replacement and technical assistance, and the after-sales line is 1300 646 747.

Can DJJ supply AGVs across several of our sites?

Multi-site buyers can work with DJJ through our enterprise and fleet supply service, which covers multi-unit supply and centralised service. Tell us the routes at each site and our team can advise whether one AGV model fits them all.
