Choosing a Vertical Mast Lift
Vertical mast lifts are the compact end of access equipment. They are narrow enough to pass through standard doorways and light enough for finished floors, which makes them suited to retail fitouts, offices, stocktaking and light maintenance.
They trade platform size and capacity for that compactness, so they suit one operator with hand tools rather than two people and materials. Check the stowed width against the narrowest doorway on the route, and the machine weight against any lift or mezzanine the machine has to cross.
Before you choose, check:
- Stowed width and height for doorways, lifts and aisles
- Machine weight against floor and lift loading limits
- Platform capacity for one operator plus tools
- Drive type: push around for occasional use, self propelled for daily work
- Non marking tyres if the floor is finished
