Choosing an X Series Electric Platform Truck: Layout and Payload
The Hangcha X Series electric platform truck carries loads on its own flat deck around factories and sites, with payloads from 1,000 to 5,000 kg. The range comes in several layouts, so start with how far and how fast you need to travel and how much room you have to turn.
- XC11 short wheelbase (BD10, BD20, BD30): the fastest layout, up to 25/30 km/h laden and unladen on the 1 t model, with a 4,000 mm turning radius and a 72V lead-acid or 77.28V lithium battery (-I models).
- XC11-L (BD20 to BD50): a 2-3 t compact version turning in 3,300 mm, and a 4-5 t version with a 3,200 x 1,500 mm deck, 4,458 mm overall length and 4,950 mm turning radius.
- XD2 / XC2 (BD15 to BD50): 1.5-5 t trucks with 2,850-3,900 mm turning radius and drawbar pull of 5,200-9,000 N, so they can also tow.
- XC1 (BD10, BD15): the most compact, 2,600-2,800 mm long and turning in 2,700 mm, on a 48V or 51.52V battery.
Speeds fall as payload rises, from 25/30 km/h on the 1 t XC11 to 12/16 km/h on the 5 t models. Check the deck size against your loads and the turning radius against your aisles before choosing a layout. For payloads of 8 to 16 t, see the X Series platform truck 8-16 t.
