Choosing an X Series 6-18 t Tow Tractor
The X Series 6-18 t is a seated electric tow tractor, upgraded from Hangcha's earlier 6-18 t range and pictured towing airport baggage. Each capacity comes with a lead-acid battery or, on the (I) models, a lithium iron phosphate battery with a 6-year or 12,000-hour warranty.
- QSD60, QSD80 and QSD100 (6-10 t, XD3): 996 mm wide with a 2,400 mm turning radius, a 4.5 kW motor and an 18 km/h top speed on a 48V battery.
- QSD120, QSD150 and QSD180 (12-18 t, XC1): a 16 kW motor and 80V battery with a 23 km/h top speed, a 2,600 mm turning radius and electric power steering as standard.
- MITS versions (12-18 t): a short 1,240 mm wheelbase and an 80V lithium battery cut the turning radius to 1,720 mm for tight sites.
All models climb up to 25% unladen, brake on front and rear wheels and have an electronic parking brake. Switches at the front and rear plus an emergency shut-off at the back make hooking up safer, and a canopy or fully enclosed cab is optional.
