Choosing an X Series 8-16 t Platform Truck
The X Series platform truck carries 8-16 t on its own deck, for short and medium-distance handling in railway and automotive plants. The frame, drive axle and steering axle are built with a large margin for heavy loads, and the battery sits low in the frame for stability.
- BD80 (8,000 kg): a 3,200 x 1,800 mm deck, an 80V lead-acid or lithium battery, 4 wheels and a 4,150 mm turning radius.
- BD100 (10,000 kg): a wider 3,200 x 2,050 mm deck on 6 wheels, with the same 12 kW motor and 4,150 mm turning radius.
- BD160 (16,000 kg): lithium only, at 96V/304Ah, with a 4,000 x 2,050 mm deck, an 18 kW motor and a 4,650 mm turning radius.
The 8 t and 10 t models travel at 10 km/h laden and 18 km/h unladen with 10% laden gradeability, and the 16 t reaches 9 and 15 km/h with 6%. The lithium battery weighs 180-220 kg against 670-760 kg for lead-acid, lifts out from the side and has a 6-year or 12,000-hour warranty.
