Choosing a 1.5-1.8 t Rough Terrain Forklift: 2WD or 4WD
The Hangcha 1.5-1.8 t rough terrain forklift is the smallest model in the range, lifting 1,500 or 1,800 kg at a 500 mm load centre. It is 1,450 mm wide, with 235 mm of clearance under the mast and 280 mm at the wheelbase centre, and is offered in two-wheel drive and four-wheel drive versions.
- 2WD (RT2): the tighter 2,800 mm turning radius and 100 kg less weight, on 27x10-12 rear tyres.
- 4WD (RT4): drive to all four wheels with a 2WD/4WD switch and larger 10.0/75-15.3 rear tyres, for a 3,200 mm turning radius.
- Engines: a Kubota V2607 at 38 kW (Stage V and Tier 4 final) with 60% laden gradeability, or a Yanmar 4TNE98 at 42.1 kW with 63%.
Every version has a three-speed suspension hydraulic transmission, a differential lock, a suspension seat and LED lights, with travel at 23/25 km/h laden and unladen. The standard lift is 3,000 mm, with duplex masts to 4,500 mm and triplex masts to 6,000 mm, and a cabin, heater and OPS system are optional.
