Choosing a Single or Double Reach X Series Pantograph Model
The X Series pantograph reach truck uses fore-aft automotive steering, so the operator steers the same way whether driving forks first or forks trailing. Choose single reach for standard racking and double reach when pallets are stored two deep.
- Single reach CQD14, CQD16, CQD18 and CQD20 (1,361-2,041 kg): 610 mm reach, a 1,722 mm turning radius and a 2,673 mm aisle with the standard battery. At 11.5 m they still carry 1,000-1,050 kg.
- Double reach CQD14 and CQD16 (1,361-1,588 kg): 1,067 mm reach to pick the second pallet in double-deep racking, with a 1,849 mm turning radius and a 2,713 mm aisle. At 11.5 m they carry 770-820 kg.
Every model is rated at a 600 mm load centre, with a 5,030 mm standard triplex mast, masts up to 11.5 m and a 1,080 mm overall width. J models run on a 36V lead-acid battery and JI models on a 38.6V lithium-ion battery. A larger battery compartment adds about 50 mm to the turning radius and aisle.
