Choosing the Right XC Reach Truck Model
Choose an XC reach truck by the weight you need to place on the top beam, not by the headline capacity. Every model keeps its full rating up to 6-6.5 m, then loses capacity as the mast goes higher.
- CQD14 and CQD16 (1.4-1.6 t): the most compact, with a 1,610-1,660 mm turning radius and a 2,687-2,701 mm aisle for 1000 x 1200 mm pallets. Masts go to 11 m, where capacity falls to 350 kg and 550 kg.
- CQD18 (1.8 t): masts to 11.5 m, still handling 1,400 kg at 8.5 m.
- CQD20 and CQD25 (2-2.5 t): the tallest masts at 13 m. The CQD25 still lifts 1,950 kg to 10 m and 1,000 kg to 13 m, but needs a 2,867 mm aisle and a 1,876 mm turning radius.
XC4 models use a mechanical control lever. XC4D models add fingertip controls with height display, height selection and height limit across the full lift range. Ratings are at a 600 mm load centre on the standard 80V/250Ah battery, and an 80V/404Ah battery is available for longer shifts.
