Choosing an IC Side Loader Model
The Hangcha IC side loader carries long loads such as steel pipe, section steel, utility poles and timber along its body. The side-mounted mast reaches out to pick the load and sets it on the deck for travel, so the truck can move through narrow aisles and channels. All six models of this IC side loader are diesel.
- 3 t: a 2,040 mm overall width and a 4,255 mm turning radius on a 45 kW Xinchai engine, with 18% laden gradeability.
- 5-6 t: a 66-67 kW Yuchai engine, a 2,100 mm overall width and a 4,700 mm turning radius, with 25-30% laden gradeability.
- Emission standard: each capacity is offered with a China GB III engine or an EU Stage V engine. The Stage V 5-6 t models climb 30% laden, against 25% for the GB III versions.
The platform and fork carriage both tilt, there are no stabiliser legs, and the cab has front and rear sliding doors for narrow passages. Ratings are at a 600 mm load centre with a 3,600 mm standard lift and masts up to 6 m, using 1,220 mm forks and a hydraulic transmission with a torque converter.
