Choosing the Right XA Series Electric Forklift Model
Choose an XA Series model by load weight first, then by how far it needs to travel and climb between charges. All five models are seated 80V lithium-ion trucks on pneumatic tyres, so they work on warehouse floors and in outdoor yards.
- CPD20 and CPD25 (2-2.5 t): the tightest turning radius in the range at 2,230 mm, an 80V/150Ah battery and the lightest service weight at 3,280-3,650 kg, which matters on floors with lower load ratings.
- CPD30 (3 t): moves up to an 80V/230Ah battery for longer runtime between charges, with a 2,375 mm turning radius.
- CPD35 and CPD38 (3.5-3.8 t): the heaviest loads in the range on the same 230Ah battery. Laden gradeability is 16% and 15%, compared with 18% on the smaller models, so check ramp gradients first.
Capacities are rated at a 500 mm load centre. Longer loads reduce capacity: the CPD38 carries about 2.3 t at an 1,100 mm load centre. The standard mast lifts 3,000 mm, with taller masts available up to 7 m.
