Choosing an XH Series 4-5 t Electric Forklift: Capacity and Battery
The Hangcha XH Series electric forklift runs on a 309V high-voltage lithium battery (173Ah, 53.4 kWh as standard, or 228Ah as an option) and lifts 4,000, 4,500 or 5,000 kg. The brochure quotes a full charge in about 1 hour, and the battery pack has low-temperature electric heating for cold conditions.
- CPD40 and CPD45: 4,000 and 4,500 kg at a 500 mm load centre, with a 2,650 mm turning radius and a 4,435 mm aisle for 1000 x 1200 mm pallets crossways.
- CPD50-XHXY2G: 5,000 kg at a 500 mm load centre, turning in 2,700 mm.
- CPD50-XHY2G: 5,000 kg rated at a longer 600 mm load centre for bulky loads, with a taller lowered mast (2,495 mm against 2,245 mm).
All four models travel at 24/25 km/h laden and unladen and climb 23% laden. The standard lift is 3,000 mm, with full free duplex masts to 3,700 mm and triplex masts to 7,000 mm; at 7,000 mm capacity drops to 3,000-3,800 kg depending on model and tyres. The body is rated IPX4 and the motors, controllers and high-voltage parts IP67. Solid tyres, a reversing camera, blue lights, a sideshifter and a cold store version are optional.
