Choosing Between the LM920 and LM930
The LM920 is the entry model in the LM wheel loader range: 1,600 kg rated load, 3,800 kg operating weight and a 0.8 m³ general purpose bucket, powered by a 42 kW Yunnei 490 engine. Its closest alternative is the LM930, which has the same rated load and bucket but a 65 kW Weichai engine.
- Dump height: 3.2 m with the standard bucket, with grain buckets of 1.6-1.7 m³ that unload at up to 4.5 m for light bulk material.
- Size: 1,830 mm wide with a 2,220 mm wheelbase, 300 mm ground clearance and a 5,000 mm turning radius on 20.5/70-16 tyres.
- Attachments: a quick hitch is optional, and the brochure shows 16 attachments, including a 4-in-1 bucket, pallet forks, hay fork, slasher, grapples, auger and dozer blade.
The transmission has high and low ranges with a mechanical gear change as standard and an electronic change as an option. Cooling-only or heating-and-cooling air conditioning and a reversing camera are optional. For more engine power with the same 1.6 t rating, compare the LM930 wheel loader.
