The Hangcha A Series stock picker is a compact lithium-ion picking truck that lifts the operator and goods to the shelf, for picking cartons in narrow aisles. Hangcha's current brochure rates it at 1,100 lb (500 kg) in total, split between 250 kg on the front tray, 150 kg for the operator and 100 kg on the rear tray, with one operator and no passengers. This order picker is 800 mm wide, turns in 1,343 mm and works in a 2,040 mm aisle.
- Lift: the mast lifts 3,700 mm, putting the platform floor at 4,000 mm. It's 1,468 mm high lowered and 5,168 mm extended.
- Size: 1,582 mm long, with a 700 by 800 mm front tray, a 407 mm rear tray that folds for tight spaces, polyurethane wheels and a service weight of 1,328 kg.
- Power: a 25.76V/150Ah lithium iron phosphate battery (3.86 kWh, 68 kg) with a built-in 24V/30A charger, a 1.5 kW AC drive motor and a 2.2 kW lift motor.
Top speed is 5.5 km/h, and the truck slows automatically as the platform rises and when cornering. It can travel and lift at the same time, and safety pedals and guardrail switches stop travel and lifting unless the operator is in position. Regenerative braking, an electromagnetic parking brake and 5% gradeability suit flat warehouse floors rather than ramps. Hangcha quotes a battery warranty of up to 5 years or 10,000 hours. Picking whole pallets at up to 4.5 m needs the A Series medium-level order picker.
