Choosing an A Series Counterbalanced Pallet Stacker: Capacity and Mast
The Hangcha A Series counterbalanced pallet stacker lifts 800 to 2,000 kg at a 500 mm load centre. As a counterbalanced design it has no support legs under the forks, and the operator rides on a fold-down platform and steers with a tiller. Each capacity comes with a 24V battery as standard or as an -I version with a 24V lithium battery (120Ah, or 202Ah optional) that charges fully in 2 hours.
- CPDB08: 800 kg, the most compact model, with a 1,380 mm turning radius and a 2,760 mm aisle for 1000 x 1200 mm pallets crossways. Its triplex mast tops out at 5,000 mm.
- CPDB12: 1,200 kg, turning in 1,430 mm in a 2,810 mm aisle.
- CPDB16 and CPDB20: 1,600 and 2,000 kg on a 3 kW drive motor, needing 3,019 mm and 3,228 mm aisles.
The standard mast lifts 2,700 mm, with duplex masts to 4,500 mm and full free triplex masts to 5,500 mm on the 1.2-2 t models. Capacity drops as the mast rises: at 5,500 mm the 1.2, 1.6 and 2 t models carry 550, 700 and 800 kg, so check the mast chart before choosing. Travel speed is 5.5/6 km/h laden and unladen, slowing above 500 mm of lift and when turning, and laden gradeability is 6%. Electric power steering, proportional lift and lower control, side battery change and a soft landing system are standard.
