Choosing a Mast for the A Series Narrow Aisle Order Picker
The A Series narrow aisle order picker is a man-up truck: the operator compartment rises with the forks, so the operator picks straight from the racking. At 1,015 mm wide, this high-level order picker suits narrow aisles and comes from Hangcha's North American range, rated at 1,360 kg (3,000 lb) at a 600 mm (24 in) load centre.
- N5000 mast: 5,000 mm fork height and a 5,250 mm platform height, with the lowest collapsed height at 2,355 mm.
- N5350 mast: 5,350 mm fork height and a 5,600 mm platform height, 2,470 mm collapsed.
- N6100 mast: the tallest, with 6,100 mm fork height and a 6,350 mm platform height, 2,720 mm collapsed.
A 36V/684Ah lithium iron phosphate battery powers a 6.4 kW drive motor and a 12.8 kW lift motor. Travel speed is 12 km/h up to 500 mm of lift and falls to 1 km/h above 4.9 m. Guardrails with detection switches, a safety pedal, a tilt switch and a pallet clamp on the forks are standard, while wire guidance, a side roller and a full-body harness are options. Higher racking up to 9.5 m needs the A Series high-level order picker 1.2 t.
