Choosing an X Series 4-Way Reach Truck Model
The X Series 4-way reach truck moves long loads such as pipes, sheets and wire through narrow aisles by driving forwards, sideways or rotating 360 degrees on the spot. Travelling sideways lets a truck carrying a long load use an aisle not much wider than the truck itself is long.
- CCD20 (2,000 kg): for lighter long loads, with the fastest laden travel in the range at 11.5 km/h and 1,150 kg capacity at the 8.5 m maximum lift. It comes with an 80V/300Ah lead-acid or 80V/250Ah lithium battery.
- CCD25 and CCD30 (2,500-3,000 kg): for heavier bundles, carrying 1,250 kg and 1,500 kg at 8.5 m on a larger 80V/360Ah lead-acid or 80V/346Ah lithium battery.
All three share a 1,850 mm wide chassis, 690 mm reach, a 15 kW lift motor and a 1,873 mm turning radius. A widened 2,310 mm fork carriage for long loads reduces capacity at 8.5 m to 900-1,200 kg. D models run on lead-acid and ID models on lithium. For diagonal crab travel and 90-degree turns, compare the X Series all-directional reach truck, which has six travel modes and a 21 kW lift motor.
