Choosing an A Series Stand-Up 3-Wheel Forklift Model
The A Series stand-up forklift is a 3-wheel truck from Hangcha's North American range, where the operator stands side-on to stack and retrieve in narrow aisles and at high lift heights. The models follow the Hangcha classes CPDS15 to CPDS23. Rated at a 600 mm (24 in) load centre, capacities are about 1,360-2,270 kg (3,000-5,000 lb).
- FBT15SLi and FBT18SLi (CPDS15-18): a 36V/684Ah lithium iron phosphate battery and a 1,367-1,415 mm turning radius.
- FBT20SLi and FBT23SLi (CPDS20-23): a larger 36V/906Ah battery for the heavier loads, turning in 1,488-1,585 mm.
Every model is 1,082 mm wide, with dual AC front drive motors, cushion tyres and a top laden speed of 12.4 km/h that slows automatically in corners. Pedal sensing applies the brakes when the operator's foot leaves the pedal. Triplex and quad masts reach about 7 m, and the battery rolls out from the side and charges fully in 2 hours.
