Choosing an XC Series 3-Wheel Electric Forklift Model
The XC Series 3-wheel electric forklift is an 80V lithium truck from 1.3 t to 2 t, with dual AC drive motors and battery cells developed jointly by Hangcha and CATL. Choose by load first, because the 2 t model has a longer, wider body.
- CPDS13 to CPDS18 (1.3-1.8 t): the same compact 1,080 mm wide body with a 1,470 mm turning radius and a 3,158 mm aisle for 1000 x 1200 mm pallets crossways, travelling at 16 km/h.
- CPDS20 (2 t): 1,149 mm wide with a 1,600 mm turning radius, a 3,290 mm aisle and 1,070 mm forks.
- Drive version: XCD8G and XCC2G models use a 15 kW lift motor. The XCY2G version uses a permanent magnet synchronous drive with an 11 kW lift motor.
Standard batteries are 80V/230Ah, or 280Ah on the 2 t, with options up to 460Ah. Ratings are at a 500 mm load centre with a 3,000 mm standard lift and triplex masts up to 6.5 m. The forks slow automatically just above the ground, regenerative braking holds the truck on ramps, and the hood and side plates are sealed against dust and water.
