Choosing an X Series 12-16 t Diesel Forklift: Capacity and Engine
The Hangcha X Series 12-16 t diesel forklift comes in 12,000, 14,000 and 16,000 kg capacities, mostly at a 600 mm load centre, with longer-load versions at 750 mm and 900 mm. Every engine option is a Cummins six-cylinder.
- Cummins B6.7: 116 kW and EU Stage V / Tier 4.
- Cummins QSB6.7-C160: 119 kW and Stage IIIA / Tier 3.
- Cummins QSB6.7 (Stage IV / Tier 4F): 118 kW, on one 16 t version.
All models use an Okamura powershift transmission with a manually tilting climate-controlled cabin, integrated joystick and four-way hydraulic valve as standard, and climb 20% laden. The standard lift is 3,000 mm and masts reach 6,500 mm, where capacity drops to 7,500, 9,500 and 11,500 kg.
