Choosing an XF Series 5-7 t Model: Diesel or LPG
The XF Series 5-7 t is a heavy-duty counterbalance forklift on dual front pneumatic tyres, rated at a 600 mm load centre. Choose between a Deutz TCD3.6 diesel and a PSI 4.3L LPG engine; the truck dimensions are the same on both.
- Deutz diesel: offered to EU Stage IIIB or Stage V, with a ZF powershift transmission and wet brakes. It has the highest laden gradeability at 30-41% and about 64-65 kN drawbar pull.
- PSI 4.3L LPG: faster laden travel at 27.1-29.8 km/h, against 22-24 km/h for the diesel, with 27-38% laden gradeability.
- Capacity: the 5 t turns in 3,230 mm and the 7 t in 3,350 mm. At a 7 m lift, capacity is 3,000-3,800 kg.
All models have a 2,050 mm overall width and 1,200 mm forks. The brochure highlights a high-strength chassis, mast and axles, an aluminium radiator for severe environments and a brake accumulator that gives more than four emergency stops with the engine off.
