Choosing an X Series 3-4 Layer Empty Container Handler
The Hangcha X Series 3-4 layer empty container handler is the compact option for yards that stack empties 3 or 4 high. It handles 20 ft and 40 ft containers with a telescopic single-container spreader that sideshifts ±600 mm, and comes in two capacities with a choice of two diesel engines.
- H60EC-3: 6,000 kg, stacking 3 high with a 9,217 mm lift in the twistlocks and a 23,900 kg service weight.
- H70EC-4: 7,000 kg, stacking 4 high with a 12,217 mm lift and a 25,300 kg service weight.
- Engines: a Cummins B6.7 at 116 kW (EU Stage V) or a Yuchai YC07160 at 118 kW (China IV).
Both sizes are 2,580 mm wide with a 3,300 mm wheelbase and turn in 4,750 mm, against 6,000 mm for the 9 t model. An OKAMURA transmission gives a 29 km/h top speed, and laden gradeability is 20%. Wet disc brakes, a climate-controlled cab, a duplex mast, emergency descent and the FIMS fleet management system are standard. For stacking 7 or 8 high, see the X Series 9 t empty container handler.
