Choosing an X Series 45 t Reach Stacker: Rows and Engine
The Hangcha X Series reach stacker lifts 45,000 kg in the first row, 31,000 kg in the second and 16,000 kg in the third, with an ELME 817 telescopic spreader for 20 ft and 40 ft ISO containers. The spreader rotates +105/-195 degrees and sideshifts ±800 mm, and the boom reaches a 15,120 mm lift height.
- Stacking: 5 high in the first row, 5 high (8 ft 6 in) or 4 high (9 ft 6 in) in the second, and 4 or 3 high in the third.
- Engines: a Volvo TAD1181VE at 265 kW (EU Stage V and Tier 4f), a Volvo TAD1151VE at 265 kW or a Cummins QSM11 at 250 kW (both Stage IIIA).
- Driveline: a DANA 36000 transmission and KESSLER heavy-duty drive axle with wet multi-disc brakes.
Travel speed is 20/22 km/h laden and unladen, laden gradeability is 20%, and the turning radius is 8,100 mm on 18.00-25 tyres. The truck is 8,123 mm long (11,625 mm including the boom) and 4,220 mm wide, with a 72,200-72,600 kg service weight and an 800 L fuel tank.
