Choosing an XC Series 4-5 t Model: AC or PMSM
The XC Series 4-5 t is a lithium-only forklift on an 80V/608Ah lithium iron phosphate battery, built in two drive versions. XD6 models use AC motors, while XCY2 models use dual permanent magnet synchronous motors that use about 27% less energy.
- CPD40 and CPD45 (4-4.5 t): a 2,550 mm turning radius and 4,270 mm aisle, carrying 3,400 kg at 7 m on dual tyres.
- CPD50 mini and CPD50 (5 t): rated at 500 mm and 600 mm load centres, with the same 2,550 mm turning radius and 3,600-3,800 kg at 7 m on dual tyres.
- AC or PMSM: the PMSM versions have a 25 kW drive motor against 23 kW, 19 km/h laden travel against 18 km/h and 16% laden gradeability against 15%.
All models are rated IPX4 with a fully sealed hood and side plates, and the battery carries a 6-year or 12,000-hour warranty. Single front tyres are available with masts up to 6 m. For a lead-acid option in the same capacity class, compare the X Series 4-5 t.
