Choosing an XC Series 6-10 t Model: AC or PMSM
The XC Series 6-10 t is a lithium-only 96V forklift on solid tyres, built on two platforms: XCD4 models with AC asynchronous drive and XCY2 models with permanent magnet synchronous drive. Both are rated IPX4 and carry a 6-year or 12,000-hour battery warranty.
- CPD60, CPD70 and CPD80 (6-8 t): a 3,140 mm turning radius and 17-18 km/h laden travel, with a 96V/690Ah battery as standard.
- CPD80 L, CPD90 and CPD100 (8-10 t): dual front tyres, a 3,350 mm turning radius and a 96V/920Ah battery. The CPD80 L is rated at a 900 mm load centre for long loads.
- AC or PMSM: on the 6-8 t models the PMSM version has a 40 kW drive motor and twin 28 kW lift motors against 32 kW and twin 23 kW for AC. On the 8 t L to 10 t models, PMSM travels at 17 km/h laden against 15 km/h.
Laden gradeability is 15-19% and masts reach 7 m, with a -30°C cold storage option. For engine-style outdoor work on pneumatic tyres, compare the XE Series 6-10 t.
