Choosing an XF Series 1-3.5 t Model and Engine
The XF Series 1-3.5 t is a pneumatic-tyre counterbalance forklift offered with diesel, LPG or dual-fuel LPG/petrol engines. Choose the capacity first, then the engine, because the engine sets the emission standard and how well the truck climbs.
- Diesel: the 1 t CPCD10 uses a Yanmar 4TNE92. From 1.5 t the standard diesel is a Xinchai 3E22 certified to EU Stage V, and the 1.5-1.75 t models are also offered with a Kubota V2607 that meets EU Stage V and EPA/CARB Tier 4 Final.
- LPG: GCT GK21 (1.5-1.75 t) and GK25 (2-3.5 t) engines, with 25-37% laden gradeability against 23-34% for the 1.5-3.5 t diesel versions.
- Dual fuel: CPQYD models run on LPG or petrol, with GCT engines certified to CARB SIP LSI-1, EPA Tier 2 and EU Stage V.
All models use a powershift transmission from Hangcha or Okamura and are rated at a 500 mm load centre, with a 3,000 mm standard lift and triplex masts up to 7 m. The operator presence system locks lifting, tilting and travel when the operator leaves the seat.
