Choosing an XF Series 4-5.5 t Model and Engine
The XF Series 4-5.5 t is offered with five engines: Kubota V3307 diesel (EU Stage V and EPA/CARB Tier 4 Final), Xinchai 4E30 diesel (EU Stage V), PSI 4.3L LPG, Kubota WG3800 LPG and a Kubota WG3800 dual-fuel engine for LPG or petrol. Every engine comes with an Okamura powershift transmission and the same truck dimensions.
- 4 t: the narrowest at 1,420 mm, with a 2,690 mm turning radius and a 4,440 mm aisle for 1000 x 1200 mm pallets crossways.
- 4.5-5.5 t: a 1,503 mm wide body and a 2,720-2,905 mm turning radius. The 5.5 t has 1,200 mm forks.
- Engine choice: the PSI 4.3L LPG has a two-speed transmission and the highest laden gradeability at 27-33%. The two diesels and the Kubota LPG and dual-fuel engines use a single-speed transmission and climb 23-30% laden.
Capacities are rated at a 500 mm load centre, and the 600 mm ratings are 500 kg lower. The standard lift is 3,000 mm and triplex masts reach 7 m. For the newer design with a smaller turning radius and faster lifting, see the XF2 Series diesel and LPG forklift 4-5.5 t.
