XH Series at a Glance
The Hangcha XH Series 28-35 t is a heavy counterbalance forklift built on a 618V lithium battery platform to do work that usually needs a large diesel forklift. Four models, CPD280 to CPD350, lift 28,000 to 35,000 kg at a 1,200 mm load centre, and each comes in an anti-corrosion -A version rated for C5-I and C5-M environments. The 282 kWh battery charges from 20% to 100% in about 1 hour, so this electric forklift truck can top up at breaks instead of stopping for long charges.
- Lifting: 4,000 mm standard lift, with wide-view masts from 3.6 m to 7 m. Capacity holds to 5 m, then falls, to 21,000 kg on the 28 t and 28,000 kg on the 35 t at 7 m.
- Driving: 24/26 km/h laden/unladen, 20/25% gradeability, 150,000 N drawbar pull and three drive modes (Super, Power and Eco).
- Size: 9,350-9,370 mm long and 3,420 mm wide, with a 6,600 mm turning radius, 2,440 mm forks and a service weight of 42,400-48,000 kg.
The motors, controllers and battery are liquid cooled, the motors and electronics are rated IP67 and the body IPX4. An automatic fire extinguisher for the battery, manual service disconnect switches, high-voltage interlocks and turning deceleration are standard, and the lithium battery carries a 6-year or 12,000-hour warranty. Plan the charging point early, because a 618V, 282 kWh truck needs a suitable fast-charging supply on site. Loads up to 48 tonnes need the XH Series electric forklift 38-48 t.
