A Series at a Glance
The Hangcha A Series centre-control rider pallet truck is a stand-on electric pallet truck for long runs in large warehouses. The CBD27 and CBD36 are rated at 2,700 kg and 3,600 kg (6,000 and 8,000 lb in Hangcha's North American brochure) at a 1,220 mm load centre. The operator stands in the middle of the truck, and the 2,440 mm forks can carry two 1,200 mm pallets end to end, so this electric pallet jack suits distance work and double-pallet moves.
- Performance: 9.5 km/h laden and 14 km/h unladen, with 8/15% gradeability laden/unladen.
- Size: 3,918 mm long and 860 mm wide, with a 2,915 mm turning radius, 150 mm of lift and forks that lower to 83 mm.
- Power: a 25.6V/230Ah lithium iron phosphate battery with built-in heating for cold conditions, a 4 kW AC drive motor and a 2.2 kW lift motor.
Electric power steering and a CURTIS AC controller give precise control, and the parking brake stops the truck rolling on ramps. The large display shows battery level, speed and fault codes, and the tiller and display move aside for battery changes. At nearly 4 m long, it needs wide aisles and turning space, so it isn't the right truck for tight storerooms. The A Series end-control rider pallet truck 2.7-3.6 t carries the same capacities with an end-control layout.
