Choosing a Reach Stacker
Reach stackers lift and place laden containers, reaching over one or two rows rather than working only at the face of a stack. Capacity sits around 45 tonne in the first row, dropping as the boom reaches further back.
Because capacity falls with reach, the row you need to service matters more than the headline rating. Confirm how many rows deep the stack is, the stack height in containers, and the pavement rating in the yard. These machines are heavy, and the loads they place through the tyres are what usually decides where they can operate.
