Pallet trucks move loads horizontally rather than lifting to height, which makes them the workhorse for loading docks, order assembly and truck unloading. Our powered range covers 0.5 tonne to 3.63 tonnes, with walkie, stand on and end control rider models.
The choice is mostly about distance and frequency. Walkie models suit short moves in tight spaces. Stand on and rider models save operator fatigue where the run is long or repeated all shift. Check fork length against your pallet type, since 1150 mm forks do not suit every load.
Before you choose, check:
- Distance travelled per trip, which decides walkie against rider
- Fork length and width matched to your pallets
- Ramp or dock gradients on the route
- Battery capacity against the number of trips per shift
- Turning space at the tightest point of the route
